We are proud to feature Honoree Keith Block, Vice Chairman, President & COO of Salesforce and his special guests Doris Kearns Goodwin, Bonnie St. John and Regie Gibson. Keith Block is Vice Chairman, President & COO of Salesforce, the Customer Success Platform and world’s #1 CRM company. At Salesforce, Mr. Block leads the company’s day-to-day operations, including its rapidly growing, multi-billion dollar global sales and services business, alliances and channels, industry strategy, corporate development, corporate affairs, marketing and business operations. Mr. Block is also an avid history buff, and enjoys reading to Boston Public Schools students for our sponsorship initiative, The Big Cheese Reads.
Doris Kearns Goodwin is a pulitzer prize-winning author and historian. Goodwin is the author of six critically acclaimed and New York Times best-selling books. She served as an assistant to President Lyndon Johnson in his last year in the White House, and later assisted President Johnson in the preparation of his memoirs. Ms. Goodwin is well known for her appearances and commentary on television.
Bonnie St. John is an Olympic medalist and best-selling author. Despite having her right leg amputated at age five, St. John became the first African-American ever to win Olympic or Paralympic medals in ski racing. She currently travels the world as a keynote speaker and leadership consultant for over five hundred different companies, non-profits and associations.
Regie Gibson is a poet, songwriter, author, workshop facilitator, and educator. Gibson is a former National Poetry Slam Champion and has been featured on HBOs Def Poetry Jam, various NPR programs, and nominated for a Boston Emmy. Regie received a Massachusetts Cultural Council Award for Poetry and has been artist-in residence at Berklee College of Music.
