Boston Partners in Education, Salesforce and the Timilty Middle School partner to design an engagement activity which will develop students’ STEM and entrepreneurship skills

LEMONADE FOR SALE!

Boston Partners in Education and Salesforce, the world’s #1 CRM company and Intelligent Customer Success Platform, were excited to host 11 students from Timilty Middle School at the Salesforce World Tour Boston at Hynes Convention Center.

In May, a group of 16 Timilty Middle School students took part in a 2-hour training at the Boston Salesforce offices, and completed the ‘Build a Lemonade Stand App’ module on Salesforce’s Trailhead platform, to learn about Salesforce and build a mobile application.

Eleven of these students were on-site at Salesforce World Tour Boston, using the app to distribute lemonade, complete orders, and keep track of their inventory. This project brings together Boston Partners in Education, the Timilty Middle School, and Salesforce, to develop students’ problem solving abilities and leadership skills, and better prepare them to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

Even sweeter: For every cup of lemonade distributed, Salesforce.org donated $1 to the Timilty Middle School, and $1 to Boston Partners in Education.
