Boston Partners in Education's Independent Learning Support (ILS) program matches interested 1st through 12th grade Boston Public Schools students with volunteer academic mentors. Students meet virtually, one-on-one, with mentors once a week outside of school time, to improve their academic performance, receive social-emotional support, and work toward their goals.
We make new mentoring matches from September until late April. While we strive to match as many students as possible, we cannot guarantee that your student will be matched. For the best chances of being matched, please nominate your student as early in the school year as possible.
