As part of our Academic Mentors Engagement Series, Boston Partners in Education invites you to our upcoming workshop: From Academic Mentor to Teacher.

On October 24, 2016, Boston Partners will be hosting an information session with Boston Teachers Residency (BTR) Program for our past and current academic mentors who may be interested in teaching. If you are a volunteer who likes to work with students in a classroom and you want to learn more about becoming a classroom teacher, do not let this opportunity pass you by.

BTR not only prepares you to work with students by co-teaching with a master teacher within the Boston Public School system, it allows you to earn a M. Ed. from UMass Boston, earn teacher licensure, all while receiving a living stipend and health benefits.

Childcare is not available and light refreshments will be served.
